Walking Worthy of the Call

Be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.  Colossians 1:9-10.

“Jesus is our model. People are our passion. Transformed lives are our product.”

LETTER FROM THE PASTOR

Christopher J. Respass
Founder & Senior Pastor
Antioch Christian Fellowship

Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, left us clear instructions to make disciples of all nations, baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teach them to obey what he has commanded (Matt. 28:19-20). Jesus, the incarnate Word, told us to “teach them.” It is our goal to soundly, passionately, and diligently teach the Word of God so that the saints will be thoroughly equipped to do the work of the Lord. To that end, I believe Antioch Bible Institute grows out of the heart of God. It is no mistake that you are reading this course catalog and there is no doubt that God wants to mature you in Him. I am convinced that your studies will challenge you, affirm you, convict you and inspire you to live faithfully and victoriously for Christ. While we expect your heart and mind to be touched, it is our prayer that your life be transformed to the glory of Jesus Christ. So, bring your Bible, your mind and your heart as we grow in God’s word together. Let our diligent study be our reasonable act of service to the God who saved us that we might all be transformed into workers who need not be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

          Yours in Christ

          Christopher J. Respass, Senior Pastor

INTRODUCTION

PURPOSE
The purpose of ABI is to expose every Antioch member and saint of God to the Word of God through various Antioch Bible Institute classes that will take them from spiritual infancy (baby in Christ) to spiritual maturity (Disciple). Our goal is for every member to go out and fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples. This occurs through teaching the word of God (Colossians 1:9-10), maturing in the Word of God (Colossians 1:28), and equipping members with the Word (Ephesians 4:12).
